The project was established on April 29th as a response to the military
conflicts in Sudan.
The project aimed to empower house officers, registrars, primary care
clinicians, medical students and health professions students in Sudan to
provide emergency medical care in conflict-affected areas and other
states.
With a limited number of trained emergency medicine specialists, there
was a crucial need to enhance the capacity of non-emergency medicine
trained clinicians and health professions students to respond to the
escalating crisis effectively.
