Improving Nursing and Midwifery Services in Eastern Sudan
The Sustainable Development Organization (SuDRO) in
Collaboration with the Samaritan’s Purse International Relief
Organization conducted training sessions for the nurses, medical
assistants, and midwives on basic nursing knowledge and skills to
improve their productive capacity with high efficiency using safe,
accessible, updated methodologies and techniques.

The trainers were sent by the Sustainable Development Organization
(SuDRO) to Hamshkoraib ,avillage in Kassala State. The first step was the conduction of a training needs assessment and gaps identification for the nurses, the medical assistants, and the midwives as well as a workplace
assessment for the health facility..
