Humanitarian Response in Al-Dabba Camps – Days 1 & 2

SuDRO’s Mobile Clinic Responds Rapidly to Urgent Needs in Partnership with CORE

As the humanitarian situation continues to worsen in the Al-Dabba displacement camps in Northern Sudan, SUDRO (Sustainable Development Response Organization), in partnership with CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), continues to deliver urgent medical support to families in crisis

Following reports of large-scale displacement and a lack of essential health services, SuDRO’s mobile clinic team was deployed rapidly to the camps — equipped with essential medicines, supplies, and a dedicated team of health professionals. Their mission: to provide life-saving care where it is needed most

Field Response and Impact

Day 1 – November 5, 2025

On the first day of the intervention, the SuDRO–CORE mobile clinic team successfully treated 184 patients, including gunshot injuries, dehydration, respiratory infections, and maternal health complications. Many of those assisted were women and children, reflecting the high vulnerability of families in the camps

Day 2 – November 6, 2025

The team maintained its strong presence in the camps, expanding its outreach and managing a total of 186 new cases in a single day, distributed as follows

Department Cases Treated
Medicine 37
Pediatrics (Children) 42
Obstetrics (Women’s Health) 30
General Practitioner 1 34
General Practitioner 2 43
Total 186

These figures reflect the continued high demand for medical assistance and the dedication of the SuDRO and CORE teams in ensuring that critical care reaches those most in need.
