Mobile Clinics Program in White Nile State – SuDRO Organization

SuDRO Organization successfully implemented the first phase of its mobile clinics program in White Nile State from August 11-12, 2024. This program aimed to provide primary healthcare services to affected populations, particularly those displaced from Jebel Daier and residing in the Al-Inqaz camp in Kosti city.

Al-Inqaz neighborhood in Kosti city was selected for the program’s implementation, with a specific focus on the Al-Inqaz camp (Al-Hurriya School). The organization initially set a target of providing medical services to 300 individuals daily; however, the urgent need for care led to the reception of a larger number of patients.

Services offered included specialized clinics for children, women’s health, and internal medicine, as well as nursing services, medical tests, pharmacy, therapeutic nutrition, psychological counseling, psychosocial support programs, and health awareness campaigns.

SuDRO managed to provide medical services to over 402 patients and reached more than 640 individuals through its awareness campaigns. Medical reports revealed that conjunctivitis and urinary tract infections were the most prevalent conditions among patients.

The mobile clinics program proved highly successful in delivering primary healthcare to the target population, especially the displaced.
SuDRO’s mobile clinics program represents a significant step towards providing healthcare to affected populations in White Nile State.

However, the sustainability and expansion of this program require further support and continuous efforts.
